One of the many benefits of baseboard heating is that you can easily control your heating in zones. This means that you can manage your heat using one central thermostat rather than room-by-room.

At Mysa, we think of zones as groups of thermostats. Thermostats in the same zone all follow the same schedule and will all have the same set-point temperature, simultaneously heating up your room.

If you have added a thermostat to a Zone but now want to control the unit by itself, you can do that by following the steps below: 

How can I change the name of a thermostat or zone?

You open the Mysa app and tap on the thermostat card of the zone you'd like to change. On the thermostat/zone screen, tap the current zone name, and a keypad will pop up. Type in the new name for this zone and tap return on your keyboard to save the change.

If you are looking to remove a Zone altogether, follow the steps below: 

This will not delete the thermostats, just the Zone

How do I control the Individual thermostat that is in the Zone?

Please be aware that the zone schedule will override the individual thermostat changes. 

At this time, Mysa for In-Floor units cannot be zoned. This may change in the future, but we cannot provide a definitive launch date. 

Mysa for In-Floor units can also not be added to a zone with baseboard units. 

Can I Zone Mysa for AC and Mini-Split Heat Pumps?

At this time, Mysa for AC and Mini-Split Heat Pumps cannot be zoned. This may change in the future, but we cannot provide a definitive launch date. 

Mysa for AC and Mini-Split Heat Pumps units can also not be added to a zone with baseboard units.
