Learn about optimal placement of your Mysa AC

Mysa for AC works by mimicking the infrared codes from your remote. Therefore, Mysa must have line-of-sight with your mini split or AC unit. Ensure there’s no wall or furniture obstructing. 

When wall-mounting or placing your Mysa for AC on a tabletop, it is important to ensure that it has a direct “sight line” to your air conditioner or mini-split. For the most comfortable experience, we recommend that Mysa for AC be set up near your regular seating area, or on an opposite wall. This helps to ensure that your ideal temperature can be maintained for the entire room.

Direct line of sight is recommended. However, in the event, you have a mini-split with multiple heads it is possible to use just one Mysa to control them.

Additionally, the Mysa IR commands can bounce off of walls, which can assist where a line of sight may not be available.
